 American Red Cross Disaster Action Teams Respond to House Fires in Imperial and Herculaneum
Jefferson County Service Center provides emergency shelter, food and clothing to victims
St. Louis, Wednesday, May 21, 2008 – The American Red Cross Jefferson County Service Center dispatched two Disaster Action Teams to house fires in Imperial and Herculaneum. Both of them were two-alarm fires. The one in Imperial occurred last night in the 5300 block of Doe Run and affected two homes. Another fire erupted this morning at a home on the 700 block of Circle Drive in Herculaneum. Red Cross volunteers provided support for emergency personnel, and emergency relief assistance to a total of seven adults and one child.
